Early reveal Huddersfield giants fixtures absence in round one. St Helens’ possible involvement in the World Club Challenge will delay the start of the Huddersfield Giants’ 2023 Super League season.
The round one game against the Giants has been postponed until later in the year while negotiations continue between the champions, Super League and the NRL.
The Wolves will therefore open their campaign on Friday, February 24, at home against Ian Watson’s team.
A Sky Sports camera will be on hand at Halliwell Jones Stadium to capture the opening game between the Rhinos and Wolves.
On February 17, Wakefield Trinity will face Catalans Dragons at home for the start of a new era as head coach under Mark Applegarth.
Hull KR’s first game under Peters will be against Wigan Warriors on Saturday, followed by Hull FC’s home clash with Castleford Tigers on Sunday.
Fixtures for the early 2023 Super League – Round One
There will be a Warrington Wolves vs Leeds Rhinos match on Thursday, February 16 (8 p.m.).
Wakefield Trinity will play the Catalan Dragons at 7:30 pm on Friday, February 17; Leigh Leopards will play the Salford Red Devils at 8 pm on Sky Sports.
The Hull KR v Wigan Warriors game will broadcasted on Channel 4 at 1pm on Saturday, February 18
Castleford Tigers vs Hull FC, Sunday, February 19 (3pm)
The second round
SKY Sports will air the Salford Red Devils versus Hull KR game on Thursday, February 23 at 8 p.m.
The Huddersfield Giants fixtures will take on the Warrington Wolves at 7.45 p.m. on Friday, followed by Leeds Rhinos versus Hull FC at 8 p.m. on Sky Sports, and Wigan Warriors versus Wakefield Trinity at 8 p.m.
There will be a match between Catalans Dragons and Leigh Leopards on Saturday, February 25 (6 p.m.).
Channel 4 will broadcast Castleford Tigers’ match against St Helens on Sunday, February 26 at 1 p.m.

SKY Sports will carry the St Helens v Leeds Rhinos match on Friday night (8pm).
